Hi

Is there anywhere in London where they sell the Crumpler bags?

I want to see which would be suitable before buying?

Thanks

I've been looking at Crumpler bags also along with others but I've found it's difficult to find anywhere that stocks a decent amount. Jessops in Edinburgh even has a bag section in their store, but there were sod all bags there!

This isn't London but Sheffield has a dedicated Crumpler store in Meadowhall, maybe its worth searching to see if they have any stores near you?

Thank you all. Nothing near me. Will keep searching.

Ill be putting 2 as new Crumplers in the classifieds over the weekend, in fact 1 never used, the other half has finally agreed to slim down her bag collection after i did the same a few months ago, she has over £500 worth of them.

Oouch £500..

Let me know what you have and price. I am after one that will hold the D90 with 55-200 and may be one other small lens.

Please can you PM me when they are up for sale.

Thank you

Thats not near what i still own myself, ive got a Crumpler Puppet, Think Tank, Kata HB-207, Kata HB-205, Kata DR-467 and a couple of old Nikon messenger type bags, i use the HB-207 regularly but the rest are just sat there, the DR-467 is brand new and unused but i got it for the wife, its the pink one and she doesnt like it.

, apart from my HB-207 theyre all new and unused and most cost over £100 each except for the DR-467

This photography is very expensive.
:'(

I have a lowerpro fastpack 100 and a cheap backpack which I bought from Amazon. I want to get a shoulder bag which does not look like a camera bag so I can bring the camera to work with me.

The lowepro look too much like a camera bag and I do not want to risk it when walking home.

Sorry Gary, please can I have the names of the ones you might be selling so I can look them up and see if they fit the bill.

Thanks

Thanks. I am after a shoulder type bag. Sorry.

I hate stupid trendy trade names such a Super Dry and Crumpler but not as much as I hate cupcakes - their just boring horrible fairy cakes, nowhere near as nice as say a flapjack, or a macaroon. Trendy, vomit inducing names for totally average products sold at inflated prices.

Very constructive

Jessops in Edinburgh only sell what they are paid to plug. Which in the Edinburgh stores is essentially the manfrotto bags.

If you MUST they'll sell you a lowepro ;)

Still... £94 for a manfrotto unica ain't that bad :p

By the time we'd walked around all that stupid fencing protecting what is probably the biggest disaster for Edinburgh in the last 100 years, I was in no mood for a small collection of bags which all looked the same to me.

The problem I have is that I just know that if I order a bag online based on the image, it'll be nothing like it!
