just a query on this

some of the pics i took i have cropped, but i manually put borders on and resized accordingly etc

but is there a way i can crop pics in a certain size?

e.g editing say 15 images, i would want to edit them and crop them all one size, then run a batch on them to do borders, watermarks and so on because if i run the batch now when there cropped it doesnt do borders close to properly

dont have the axact sizes but say 800x570 pixels for instance on each pic then go from there

using Photoshop CS3

hope this makes sense

You can just enter 800px in the width/height box and then 570 in the other... CS3 will then draw your crop box in this proportion and you hit enter to crop. IS that what you mean.

I find the easiest way to do a border is to finalise your image and then stroke (White), flatten, Stroke (Black) to add a Black with thin white line border to my images...

Is that completely away from the mark, or make sense:shrug:

Ps... If you want portrait or landscape, press the flip button...

You can also save your fave crop sizes in the box at the far left on the crop toolbar....

ah i will give that a go, thought there would be something simple

i do the canvas size for images, find that more eay, its just going through all of the different things first, original crop, re size, border save etc on all images that takes ages (i did 125 ish yesterday)

that works a dream, thanks all

now saved standard sizes of my images so it makes life easier
