I have an image(raw file) of my son I want to crop and then print off at a larger size 20x30 inches or thereabouts.
Using the crop tool in CS4 I select the dimensions and crop the size I want. I've entered the dimensions in tool bar. For some reason when I bring the ruler up using 'R' the ruler is showing in cm's when I have selected a crop size in inches. How do I change this?
Also I want to see how my image will look at roughly that dimension. How do I zoom in and know what it will look like a 30x20?
I do the 30x20 crop and I have no idea if the quality will be acceptable?
Any tips gratefully recieved
Also when you guys do a crop and blow up do you usually get a cheap smaller print as a test first to check the exposure/brightness looks fine before spalshing on a larger image?
