Cromatek filters - help needed

I have been sorting equipment on behalf of a friend who unfortunately is in the final throes of cancer treatment. I found a box of assorted 'cromatek' filters and I have no idea what they would be used with. I assume they slot into some sort of filter holder for a film camera, but I have not come across this style or shape of filter before.
Anyone provide any info? I assume they are worth very little if anything - but possibly useful to someone?

it is ab obscure brand i once nearly bought into very simiar to others out there i think i decided not to as they were an odd size and limited on choice.

They fitted a holder that looked a little like a Cokin A system but were not the same size and the adaptor rings to the lenses were not interchangable with Cokin system.
