Its from creativity backgrounds Tink, they have loads of colours. I also have an orange that I use for brunettes and a pink which is great for little girls.

Excellent take on the them for this week, Style :clap:

I like the choice of font for the heading, and the way you have split it using the stem of the 'Y', very good proportion.

I think you you have pretty much nailed everything there, love the expressions, but have to agree with you on the dark hair blending into the background. Not sure how you could have overcome that, but having said that I think the stance detracts from the hair, so it is a very minor thing.

Having said that, I do think you have 'style' very typical of a man, so well done. And once again your missus has put you to shame...... I love her, purely because she comes accross as such a classic down to earch type of woman and I look forward to her featuring in you future photos.

Thank you Dawn I really appreciate you taking the time to write so much about my shots. The only thing I could (should) of done for my dark hair is a back light. It would of provided more separation.

That's not necessarily the plan but in al honesty I should imagine the vast majority will be of Katie as, unless I can rope someone else in or have a paid shoot, I'm pretty short of models!
She's a very reluctant model which is a shame as she's really good!

I like #1 a lot - quite powerful and has a sense of vulnerability. I'd like to see a tad of the left hand side.

#3, fantastic. Great composition and I agree the Y in style really sets the photograph off.

Great female model who looks like she's enjoying it...hope she can keep it up for another 49 weeks...:D

Katie is an excellent model, very photogenic and her expression and posing put a few professional models to shame.

Thanks Patrick, She really is very camera shy and feels awkward - which is annoying as she's actually quite good. guess the more I take the more relaxed she'l be...its also my job to make her feel relaxed...

Weel 4 - Open...

After four and a half years of being together I finally decided that I should pop the question to my lovely girlfriend Katie. i took her to london and proposed just after sunset on the london eye on sunday...she said yes!

So here she is OPENing the box to have another look at her Engagement ring

And just for pure interest sake, heres one from on the eye about 5 mins after I proposed when she finally stopped crying (with happiness I hope!)

Nothing fancy about the photography, on camera YN flash (that keeps failing to fire) and I've over sharpened it too but hey, its about the emotion in this case!

First of all congratulations to you and Katie on your engagement. I wish you many happy years together. You make a gorgeous couple :)

Well if this doesn't epitomise Open in many ways then I don't know. Both stunning photos of Katie, who is the perfect model. She has a gorgeous smile and eyes and is very photogenic.

What I like most about these two images is that I can actually see the emotion in both of them, which adds to the image.

You have captured the first image well. Pity about the flash problems on the second, but still a lovely photo. Two to add to the photo album :thumbs:

Two very nice photos and especially the first one which is on the "open" theme. A very good take on the theme.

Thanks guys. Generally I don't do many smiling photos in favor of more moody type model shots, however I think from now on I'll try to be more balanced and capture more smiles!
