Anyone who has contributred to the league, non league and rugby papers by greenways media will have got the email about the new cricket paper.. But anyone just photogrpahing cricket wont have.. So as it might be of interest to you :)


Some of you may not know that we've just launched The Cricket Paper.

We're covering everything from England to the 26 Premier Leagues across the
country - if any of you cover cricket at any level please let me know?

I'm particularly looking for Premier League coverage each Saturday for our
club section. It's not going to make you rich and the same rates as TLP but
if you are sat watching a game in the Northern League it could be a bonus.

Says same as TLP so presume 50 quid for a set of pictures.. Probably not worth going to a cricket game all day for.. but as the email suggests.. If your already there then its 50 extra
 
Ok thanks. As per Kipax I guess it's worth it if you're already there.
 
I wish i was good enough to have a go at this but i need a lot more practice, pity as there are several local teams near me in the Yorkshire county premier league.

Ah! well local village cricket tomorrow and practice practice:)
 
Done a few games for them as they cover the lancashire league and norther league.. I am already there for local paper so its a nice simple bonus to email a few of the pics i already have :) Shame the season ends next week.
 
I went to take some pics of my local club, Sefton Park Cricket Club, on Saturday, but just found out that they are a First Division club, and not in the Premier League. :( :lol:

Can you tell how much of a fan I am. ;) :lol:


PS. Just found out that they are in danger of going down to Division Two with one game to go, and against the team who are below them. :eek:

I'm thinking of sending some pictures off to the Cricket Paper and I was wondering about payment methods. Do I include my payments details in the email or do I invoice them if my pictures are used?

Invoice.. they pay end of month... saying that.. i already ahve payment details in the IPTC as a matter of course anyway.. but invoice at end of month is the way i do..

It started out as commisions for cricket.. but they are so over run with cricket pics now that it seems to be on spec unless theres somehting special on the horizon..
