Hi all.

Thinking of either buying a single course or of signing up for a subscription to the CreativeLive training website.

Does anyone have experience of buying from them or of purchasing a subscription to them? Were you happy with what you got from them?

I am particularly interested in how easy it is to stop subscribing when I wish to, as it can be very hard to get out of subscriptions with some companies.

I haven't bought a subscription, but I have bought one course, The Fundamentals of Digital Photography. This was a 5 day course, which whilst watching, I decided I wanted to buy. It is excellent quality, as are a lot of the Creativelive courses I've watched. That course is updated every year, and has been updated I think 3 times since I bought it. There has not been enough new for me to purchase again. Still watched them all live again though.

Once the course was bought I was able to download hi and lo resolution copies of the videos. (They say I can download them anytime now that I have bought them) There were some PDFs with various slides used as part of the course.

I have watched many courses on Creativelive over many years now, and find the best thing about them is you can watch the courses for first, and then get a discount on the price of the course if purchased during the course. I didn't know they did a subscription, so have no opinion or advice about that.

I find all their courses are very well produced and of high quality, and recommend them whenever I can.
