Creating an action with a watermark someone created me

Evening all

I got a mate to design me a logo and am trying to create a action in Photoshop CS5 to get the logo onto each image but I'm unsure how to do it as ive tried:
Opening logo
Moving logo across to picture I want it on
Moving it into place
Press stop

Now when I do this all I manage to do is make my logo move across to the right. Is there anyway I can create a action to get my logo onto my images or is the only way to have my logo open and it across to each individual image.

If the watermark is monotone, create a custom brush for it.

My favorite is to save the watermark as a path, you can insert this into an action.
