Scofield and Holmes have just about morphed into women, but it's the antiques shows that take some beating!

Day after day we are enthralled by cringe-worthy blokes in stripey scarves and gaudy trousers saying things like, "Jolly good", "Ahhh, bless...", "Gorgeous!", etc, while they drive around in a Morris Minor gathering up a load of tat.

What's not to like...

Beaten to it, I was going to say loose women and Jeremy Kyle.
 
There's a discussion show on ITV weekday afternoons, sorry but I don't know what they call it... but... from what I've see it makes Jeremy Kyle look like Newsnight. It's simply awful IMVHO.

And (IMVHO) another thing that's simple awful... Mel and Sue, weekday afternoons although I think (thankfully) the run has ended.

I'd rather both these shows were replaced with the potters wheel or even reruns of Jeremy Kyle.
 
Loose women gets my vote. Bunch of menopausal muppets pontificating about pointless pish.

Channel 4 racing is a PITA, mainly because it usually takes the place of RR watch aka Countdown. I find that the big red button works very well and helps avoid watching mindless drivel.

Thank fish indeed - Amazon Prime here just signed up and its good.....free trial for a month and I am amazed at the next day delivery...it works!
 
I don't watch TV during the day... I'm too busy, or have better things to do. I'm thankful for that. I hardly watch TV at all in fact. I feel my life is enriched because of this. I read more, and I do more things.

Whenever someone says this I know that secretly they watch more TV then the rest of us put together.
 
I had completely forgotten Deal or no deal! Always a scramble for the remote after RR Watch...
 
I got rid of live TV abut 5 years ago and definitely don't miss it.

I can now buy complete boxsets of series and not have to wonder what's happening if I miss an episode - and I actually save money overall - and not keep seeing endless repeats of crap I couldn't be bothered watching years ago.

I now get the news from the Internet instead of it being repeated interminably with no change - and no politicians !
