Iv just put all my pictures into bridge for renaming and sorting out,
and noticed that my RAW files saved as CR2 will not open in Photoshop?
Photoshop should be able to deal with this format right?

Will depend on your version of Photoshop and the Adobe Camera raw version, some later versions of PS will not open latter versions of raw.

Got PS CS3..

hmm I dont have adobe camera.. is this a plug in?

Should just come with photoshop and bridge. Go to the adobe website and download the update for it, you may have it without realising. If you do have it, it will still need updating anyway.

HAve a look through here Link. You will need to get version of Adobe Raw that included the 40D and works with CS3, from memory you should be able to get a version to work in CS3.

When I first started with raw just played with the different setting, the good thing with raw is you can go back to the start at any point.

Yeah, will have a play when I finally finish naming/rating/deleting all these bloody photos! Dare say il have to get used to this part :bang:

Ah, I never realised that you could go back to original settings with raw, bit of a plus point!

PS stores the edits in a seperate file (the original doesnt get altered) so going back is easy, and very helpful at times.
