CPU upgrade help

Hi all,

I currently have a AMD anthlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.21GHz.
I am going to upgrade to 4GB DDR from 2GB.


By looking at the site at the bottom I have two options for upgrading;

AMD Athlon 64 FX FX-62 2.8GHz.

or

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHz

as taken from this site which shows you all compatible CPU's for each monthboard.

can anyone give me any advice as to which one is best? will i need another fan?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHz seems to be the best choice you have but they're a bit old, can you still buy them? I had a quick look and could not find any in stock in the UK.

thanks for your advice, i have found a few for sale for around £60.
