Cptnm's 52 - Week 52 - New

Goldies all the way!

Have a look where they're lining up before flying to the feeder for a more natural shot.
Love your GFs Megan. Much more colourful than the house finches that I see where I am (although I like them a lot as well :) ).
The goldfinches certainly ticked the vibrant box, good colour
Lovely colours on the Goldfinches
Thank you all, they're definitely the most colourful visitor we get! Unfortunately the only place they line up is up on a very tall tree - I've tried to catch them flying but I'm far too slow :ROFLMAO:

Was this your sculpture from the art class? I like it a lot. Great choice for the theme.

Interesting object, its good for the theme.
Well, that is certainly a unique take on the theme!
Great idea using the hand Meg,

Thank you all - it was mine, I think we made it in an ice cream tub :ROFLMAO: I can't remember the topic now but there were lots of odd pieces around the house for a while!

Week 32 - Pets

Well this week flew! Hoped to get a pic of both dogs, or a fish or two, but just remembered to snap Charlie on this evenings walk! Luckily he knows how to get a treat

Lovely looking woofer :)

Week 33 - Movement

It's the time of year for local shows, and have gone with this (very difficult looking) movement from a riding display

And as a close second, the movement of... some runner ducks by a very clever dog

That riding display is very impressive - it's hard to imagine it will end well.

Interesting stuff shot well Megan :)

Nice riding shot, sitting on the things is difficult enough and they brought the ducks instead of the sheep again:)

Week 34 - Insects

Chosen image (maybe not quite an insect, but I'll say close enough)

My close 2nd - the bug house (has also apparently been taken over by spiders)

Think we need to invest in a macro lens too - there were quite a few things around, I'm not even sure what this one is (turns out it's a pink/rose aphid I'm pretty sure)

Good stuff Megan.

Your Spider looks like a male garden spider :)

Nice set, bug house is my favourite as well. Yes a macro lens might be handy :)

Week 35 - Snapper's Choice
Trying out a macro lens a week too late. Only took a couple of quick images, with Charlie being a very good model as always

Week 36 - Hands

Saw this group having a peaceful (or not) trip down a river & noticed some very good grips/hands afterwards :ROFLMAO:

Good capture, I'd keep a tight grip on the rope, for sure!
