The TP52 - 2026 Cptnm's 52 for 2026 - Week 13 - The Night Sky

The old teddy :)

I remember sending my mothers off for her a few years ago to be put back together, replace missing eyes and buttons. The company did a really good job and my mother was happy - cost a small fortune though.

Excellent, I suspect the booties are hand made?

Hm the small fortune may be where we're headed - the little booties were knit by my grandmother! I was going to take them off for the pic but turns out there's not much stitching holding the little paw pad on any more, so on they stayed! I'd attempt to secure them back on but I'm way too worried about breaking it more to even try

Very cute, I would have liked to see more of the fretwork in the shadows.

Nice chair and bear (y) , annoying about the repair when it was agreed not to "fix" the worn part

Out of all the toys children get over the years, it's the teddy bears and dolls that are kept, loved and past down through generations.
A good choice for the theme.

Week 11 - The Colour Red
As it says on the tin - the smallest house in GB (definitely in Conwy) and handily painted red

Fab take on the theme Megan :)

LOL, I'd never have guessed your song Megan, great idea, well shot.

That is one small, small house...

Love the smallest house shot - the red is eye-popping!

For such an old house , the doorway is surprisingly square. Odd how things leap out at me.

Well, if you lived there, you would miss it on your way home from a drunken pub.

You certainly couldn't invite people round afterwards either! The doorway has almost certainly been altered, it was hard to decide whether to crop/level with the road, which wall, or the start of the roof though :ROFLMAO:

Week 12 - Daily Life

The culprit likes to be referred to as Bad Dog and only steals slippers when the victim is about to come back into the house so they're "forced" to chase him for them - one of the funnier parts of our daily life

That's cute, and I like how the light from the doors runs down either side of 'the culprit '.

I really like the red in the red shot too, it's almost luminous!

Aw yeah - poochtastic :)

Week 13 - The Night Sky
Was hoping to get a pic of the full moon, but the clouds haven't been cooperating so managed to get one the other night just in case!
