With the ongoing epidemic of the Covid19 virus spreading across the country (and the world), I'm hoping that none of the members from TP have tested positive ? It just came to mind when I received an internal communication from our company's headquarters in Germany about the setting up of a Covid-19 crisis team to monitor the effects on our global business (our Italian operations are totally shut, and about 80% of our Chinese operations are either closed or barely ticking over). So far our UK operation is unaffected (touch wood).
Photography can be a very solitary game (and in this instance that's good), but with it being predicted that at its worst, between 70-80% of the population will contract the virus (although the treat to life still remains very low in the 1-1.5% range), we still shouldn't be complacent especially if you know anyone who is elderly, has a compromised immune system or other underlying health condition.
Use your heads and keep safe everyone.
