We’ve got swan lake at TRO on May 19th; now hotels on the vicinity are an absolute fortune - any recommendations (part from check out late rooms etc) for one that’s not far away (about 30 mind Max via tube) that would be a recommendation at all?

Stayed at the park plaza victoriaa couple of times and would still go back, it is literally a 2 minute walk from Victoria train/tube/bus station.
 
assuming you're happy to travel by tube a little way you could try to Novotel at Hammersmith. 20 minutes on one tube to TRO
