Courteney Sola Pro 300 and Canon Digital Rebel xt/Canon 350D

Hi everyone just Joined the site and need some help.
I have a set of Courteney Sola Pro 300 Lights. I want to use them with a Canon 350D/Digital Rebel XT. Can I just use a Hot Shoe adapter or is their a polarity compatability problem with my Lights and Canon 350D?Digital Rebel XT that requires a different option an if so what??
