I have been given a photo which the client wants the cheek line like a razor (her words not mine).........Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial to achieve this in photoshop....tried the google thingy and all i get is make up tips....:lol:

Do you mean a line drawing type thing or just lots of contrast/detail?
 
like accent high cheek bones etc....vougue like fashion cover image...if that helps
 
Maybe a bit of burn/dodge? hard to say exactly with seeing what you mean, can you post the pic?
 
The lighting is totally different, the one is very soft lighting, while the other has much more contrasty and directional lighting, I had a very quick play with burn/dodge, local contrast ajustment and portrait pro but it's not much different really

I got similar result with portrait pro and various other amendments....will just have to keep going LOL#
 
lol... maybe the make up tips will be more suitable if you end up using the airbrush to paint them in and get the look :)
 
here is the latest attempt ....the client seems happy so far but i can see this going to an almost androgynous look ....still a bit of work to do on it....but hey ho the pay is good LOL
