Could someone view a camera in London for me?

Hello filmists. I have seen a camera I'd like to buy on Gumtree and the price is right. I've been in touch with the seller and he could meet someone at either Liverpool St or Waterloo station. I'd happily travel myself but with work I'm struggling to find the time and of course it's expensive. I was hoping one of our London folk could take a look for me and potentially buy with cash (I can transfer to you first) and then post to me. Of course I'll cover all expenses and a little extra for your effort.

Many thanks :)

Actually, never mind. It looks like there is a crack or a deep gouge where the lens meets the body. :(

If you change your mind, I'm 10 mins from Liverpool Street Station, happy to take a look at it for you.

Thank you very much. It is very cheap for what it is too so kinda tempted. He said it works perfectly too so not too fussed about the cosmetics but it looks pretty bad. ha.

And to be honest, instead of buying something else, i think I should spend my money on heading to different parts of the world to shoot some film, therefore I have just booked a trip to Copenhagen in May to watch the Crossfit regionals and take some photos whilst out and about. :)

Scratches add "character"! That's what I tell myself about all my scruffy gear :P

If I'm seeing the right ad then I agree, it looks exactly like peeling paint, not a crack. I'd say it's worth a look, at least.

I'm not so sure?! Looked again and it definitely looks like quite a deep crack to me?!

Really don't see how you think that. Have you right clicked and downloaded the pic and expanded it up ?

I am however prepared to admit I was dead wrong Guv If you look at this you'll see that clearly its the small crescent shaped piece of leatherette that is lifting off next to a part of the outer bayonet mount.

That's not the one I was looking at unfortunately. Can't link at the mo as I'm on my phone.

That is a picture of mine to illustrate the point that its the leatherette lifting off the one in Southwark.

I see what you mean now I have looked again!! Ok can someone @mothdust have a look for me please if he still has it?

Well he didn't reply :(

The search for one of these continues.
