I have finally been seduced into changing my ISP as a result of an excellent (on paper) offer. So I am resigned to being without 'tinterweb for the next however many days/weeks/months from tomorrow. However easy they say the change will be, I am practical enough to know that the transfer will be as smooth as a kangeroo's ringpiece gliding over a fresh gavel road surface.

Ah well, I'm sure the wallet may eventually be grateful.:(
 
The three one plan is your friend - unlimited tethering is a godsend!
 
I moved from AOL to BT infinity and was without the net for 30mins, only just made it...................:eek:
 
Had relatives change from BT Infinity 2 to Sky. They had no connection for 4 days. Speed wasn't bad when it finally worked although supplied hardware was shocking :(

Well, I'm up and running (well cantering really) again. My broadband speed has dropped from what it was, but I hope that will settle down eventually. My main concern was that my new ISP had not provided a broadband password before going live date, but they have transferred over my old one.

Best thing is I will save a good few bob compared to my old ISP.
