So I had a knee operation back in June and am just getting a semblance of mobility back. I walk 3 miles every day, or cycle 7 depending on my mood or the weather. However my daughter pointed out this app (from the NHS) which is about getting back into running - from couch to 5k... Currently on week 2 but having to have 1 day run plus 2 days break (walk or cycle) because my knee hurts if I do day on day off.
I do enjoy listening to music while I exercise and have discovered some great (rock) music to walk briskly or jog slowly to.
To that end, I wondered if perhaps there's anyone else out there that enjoys walking or running to music, and if so - what do you listen to? I can't stand auto-tune pop, or dance, or... well anything other than rock really. Pop rock is my guilty pleasure
Walking:
The More Things Change (Cinderella)
Highway Tune (Greta Van Fleet)
Welcome Home (Heaven's Basement)
Ballad Of Mona Lisa (Panic At The Disco)
1985 (Bowling For Soup)
Running:
Shoot To Thrill (AC/DC)
When The Night Comes in (Blackstar Riders)
Reverend Winkle (Blackstone Cherry)
Take It Off (The Donnas)
Dirty Mind (Halestorm)
C'mon (Quireboys)
Too Many Clowns (Magnum)
The Road To Damascus Street (Ricky Warwick)
Do you have any decent walking or running rock tracks? What's in your playlist?
