Now, the picture on the home page is this:

Seeing that, most people would assume that the frames, if you ordered the backing board, would have a stand.

Wrong.

I have an order of 25 printed, mounted, signed sealed and delivered photographs due for friday. Which means I have 2 days to sort it out and not enough money in my bank account to pay for different frames.

Result?
25 angry parents and negative feedback. Criticism spreads like wildfire.
 
Try local art shops and see how much they might charge for the stands.
 
I use Cotswold Mounts regularly and highly recommend them...I'm sorry to say that it's a case of not checking the information correctly, here's a link to their FAQ page....

The next to bottom FAQ states:

"Our slip mounts are designed to drop in to standard frame sizes but do not stand up. They are available in any of our colours." :bonk:

I've used Cotswold mounts a couple of times and nothing but praise.

For a small premium they will make the backing board from the same card as the main mounts; hence my last order was effectively for 50 with standard sized holes and 50 blanks for odd sized prints at a price most places couldn't even supply the card for for!

Top Tip - give them a call as they offer more options than shown on their website.
 
I would like to make alterations.

I've spoken to them and it clearly is a case of complete ignorance, and they were very pleasant and polite to me. Shall be using them again because the actual mounts were lovely.
