Im on my high horse today

well i had 4 number images that i resized in photoshop cs3 to 10x12 then sent them to costco online
however because they dont have the 10x12 option i had to get the 18x12 option
i asked them to print all images @ 25cm x 30cm i got there and they were all wrong all done and resized to 18x12 Why oh !oh why! :bang::bang:
its not worth complaining as it only cost £7.69 but where do i go to get what you need instead of mainstream that usually have someone who knows the time of day, it is very rare do you get someone who knows these days what is needed :bonk::bonk::bonk:
ok sorry rant over !!!
 
Anyone got anything to say!!! or has anyone had the same issue?? :shrug::bang:
 
Did you provide 18 x 12 canvas size with your 10 x 8 on said canvas? That's how I would print a smaller photo onto larger paper. In otherwords, did you provide the photo WITH the correct border?

"I'm sorry to hear about the problem that you had. It was myself that you spoke to when you came to collect. As i explained before, if you size them to what you want then we can print them in the raw file as i did for you yesterday. Unfortunately we only have specific sizes to offer. I am sorry that you feel the need to go and have your prints done somewhere else. I hope you change your mind and continue to use the photo lab.

1st they say they can print to what i want ,then they say they only do specific sizes ??? what !!:bonk:
 
I'm with Gary here, it would have taken but a moment to drop the image onto an 18x12 white canvas in PS then send that in.

If I'd sent a 10x12 image and select the 18x12 option then I'd expect them to automatically resize, and crop, to fill the paper.
