Do they have Costco on the rear?

I have had pano's done at Costco with no printing/logo etc on the rear.

Got some done yesterday, they just have a reference number and the file name on the back, nothing to identify them as coming from Costco.

Thanks

But the detail in their prints is not to what I consider a pro standard :thumbs down:

They also apply a skin tone warming unless requested not to colour correct.

I did a test (not too scientific) of all the local high street and supermarket photo labs and online suppliers, some time ago now admittedly, but I came to the conclusion that I would only use Loxley and charge that little bit more for doing so. The difference is very noticeable.

Well I'll find out later today!

Each Costco lab have their own profile . Ask them about it when you go into the store.

Update: they were absolute pants...............will never use them again

Had a pile of 6x4 done at my local costco (sheffield), The colour profile was warm but not over the top. I will use them again for this size of print but I would go to a pro lab for anything bigger.

Mine have Costco on the back. They ruined some of my first ones as they turn on auto shadow boost or something which made the prints look horrible but you can ask them to turn it off. For best results you will have to use their profile. Cheap though.

For cheap prints I use DSCL and the quality is far superior to high street printers and the price is fairly comparable if not cheaper.

Another vote for Ds colour labs. They are also cheaper than costco, although you have to pay for postage.

I quite like the costco service. often done same day. can be economical. esp as no minimum

My local Costco will turn of the back printer if requested and as stated above they will also turn off auto colour correction etc.
