Costco 2gb Sandisk Ultra II CF

2Gb CompactFlash £28.19 from Crucial Inc. Del. + VAT

I know there'll be cheaper ones but find these to be quite good backups to my SanDisk Ultra IIs.
 
Just bought an 8Gb Extreme III from an Amazon seller £179 quid - beezer!

Extreme IV is out but at £360 I thought better of it. :nono:
 
There was a "scare" where copy cards were sold. Not sure if this is one or not but thought better to buy from source with some guarantees. No matter how tempting the price.
 
Surely the Amazon purchase is just as high risk as the ebay one though seeing as though its just a private seller using amazon to advertise? Apart from setting the postage and packing fee amazon have little say in the matter.

Although you could have more comeback should the card prove to be a fake one, Amazon might listen a little better than Ebay tend to.

My memory card dealer of choice is Emartbuy.co.uk where they cost £32.99, so still cheaper even with the next day delivery option at £6.50.

Strangely though for the blue 'regular' Sandisk card they charge £14 more than the Ultra II, and even the Extreme III is over £3 cheaper. Supply and demand I guess.

There are terms but most are better than average on-line guarantees. I will advise of any problems.

nobodies even mentioned the channel island based dealers
www.mymemory.co.uk sell 2GB CF's for £21 delivered, and 1GB ultra II's for the same price.

Its worth checking out :D
 
A Pro Photog I know swears by THESE CF cards (4gb is £68.74p) - every review on the site is 10/10 with happy customers with all types of D-SLR's including D200 & 1D
I'm still using 7dayshop CF cards where 4gb can be had for under £50 ...

I have 2 of the 2gb slower versions of those, the fast ones werent available when i got mine, always been happy with them, never a problem.
