Surely the Amazon purchase is just as high risk as the ebay one though seeing as though its just a private seller using amazon to advertise? Apart from setting the postage and packing fee amazon have little say in the matter.
Although you could have more comeback should the card prove to be a fake one, Amazon might listen a little better than Ebay tend to.
