I currently use Elements 9 but was thinking about just investing in the whole shebang (ie CS5).
The cost is a hard pill to swallow but I notice that on Ebay for example (and other outlets) you can purchase the teacher/student version for a fraction of the cost. Link to it below:

I was just wondering, do you all just fork out and buy the main version or do you rope in a friend/family member that is a student/teacher? if so, I presume you have to go through a process of authentication so will have to rope them into providing photo id etc before you email Adobe and get an activation code?
Seems like a hassle to me (especially if its a quasi friend you are roping in).
The other concern I have is Adobe geting wise to people doing this and deactivating the account etc (then again, i'm sure they dont care that much and cant be bothered with the hassle of hunting perpetrators down).
Thoughts? views?
I'd be interested to hear how you lot go about it etc (if you do)
