Corrupted Images

So, I have a (second hand at least) Canon 1Ds mk2. I have started getting corrupted images from it. It is not completely constant, sometimes they appear to be fine, other times garbled junk (I have had parts shifted, white lines appear part way through images or pretty much whole image gone). I though at first memory card (cheapest), so replaced this and still getting the same. Sometimes the corrupted images RAW preview has been fine. or when I've shot jpg and raw, the jpg has been usable.

If this likely to be a CF slot problem, I don't see how it can be sensor as it can create the preview on some of the corrupted files?

As the body is getting a bit old, is it worth looking at repairs, or should I just bite the bullet...

Any thoughts and input gratefully received.

If you suspect the card slot then why not swap/change the slot to which the raw records?

@Canon Bob Of course that would make sense... I am maybe somewhere between GAS and looking for an excuse, and wondering if anyone had actually had the same issue (and if it was the slot). I am actually not sure I have an SDHC card at home either, but I could pick up another card I suppose.

The other option would be to buy a 1DxMkII and try the CF card in it. (is that better?)

Should've just said both card slots were shot! That way the answer would be to change the circuit board inside, which would be horrendously expensive!
