corrupted images 5d mk3

took a whole lot of shots in raw on a canon 5d mk3 using a sandisk extreme 16g. the images can not be downloaded as message says 'some info missing.' wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if is the camera or card at fault. the card has been used for some time on my old 5d
 
Some people may disagree but I find that if I put a card in a different/new camera and then reformat it on that camera I never get any problems. After all formatting is formatting but just my personal experience.

Possible long shot, as above, did you format your card in the new body ?

What program are you using to view the RAW files from the 5D MKIII - does it support RAW files from 5D MKIII - have you tried DPP (if you were using something else ?)

Have you been able to download previously / have you tried a different card ? Just wondering if the card is corrupt ?

Hope you get it sorted...
 
As above ^^^. I assume you're not using Lightroom 3. I was on LR 3.x and then realised that the raw files from my new 5D III weren't compatible with that version of LR so I've had to upgrade to LR4.
