I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following problem.
I have just got back from India after two weeks of photography. Before I left I bought two new 8GB x133 Transcend CF cards from Amazon. I got back and downloaded them using Nikon Transfer and started to process the Raw files.
This is where the problem occurs with these two cards, about 65% of the files fail to open for processing even though the thumbnails are present. In Nikon capture it just says 'error processing' and will not open. In LR3 it says 'There is an error working with photo' then 'An unexpected end-of-file occurred'. In Photoshop it just comes up as an error.
The strange thing is that the other 35% open as normal and can be processed.
I also took my San Disc cards and everything was as normal with no issues.
The photos all can be viewed on the camera and in windows photo viewer and be run as a slide show. I just can't process them and convert to Jpeg for printing and it is really frustrating after spending so much time and effort taking them.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
