ive just had a picture taken down on a black and white picture site for copyright infringement, the wierd thing is i took the picture, but apparently i stole it off some geezer called Brendan Mulachy on talk photography, they couldnt undertand that its a pseudonym and i was one and the same person ...for the record, and to clear up any problems in the future...my names Dave :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: , anyways its their loss :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Not flattered really - have sent a remove or pay up e mail - wonder how that will go.

If they'd just asked rather than lifted it from FB I would probably have said yes as it's a place I actually frequent

Will report back

I’d be sending them an invoice AND telling them to remove it unless they would like to pay for a licence for further use.

I've had a photo of a louse on a brown trout taken from my website. I sent them numerous emails asking them to remove it. They never did. So I took all my photos off and added a copyright to them all.

Careful, they'll be reporting you for hijacking Brendan's account next :ROFLMAO:

So it turns out the person responsible for this I have been trying to build a relationship with at Elstree, and have allowed to use my pictures in the past, although not in quite such a prominent way.

I am going to negotiate a non monetary remuneration :-)

Flying lessons or flight time? Sounds a good idea to me - I once got my aviation medical done free in exchange for helping the doctor install some tricky software on his computer. Saved me £130 at the time.

I gave up on my flying lessons, when it became obvious that my motion sickness wasn't going away.

A few years later I found myself hanging out of the hatch of a Westland Wessex, taking pictures with a bluidy great Mamiya C330 round my neck. All I could hear through the helmet was a crewman breezily telling me that he'd never known the door harness to break...

During parachute training we were told if your falling from a great hight and the chute failed,to cross your legs and put both arms out to your sides... It doesnt slow you down but they can unscrew you from the ground easier...

So I remember in school. We had a project for biology on a living thing. I at the time chose a red tail boa cause well I had 2 and a few friends had.

So I took the extra time and put the snakes on the grass, took photos and in a tree and snapped some more pictures and in their tanks. I really put a lot of effort in to the visuals of the project. The photos were more fun than the project. Then at the back for references I put that I took the photos with my canon 450d

I got hit with a 0 on the project cause of the references.

I took a helicopter flying lesson out of Elstree in the 80's. A little Robinson R22 on a pretty windy day. Great fun!

Also sat with my legs hanging out of a Wessex transferring from the ship to Ascension Island - hot and loud but totally awesome.
