Copying jpegs to dvd

Sing a hp windows 7 laptop.

Did a drag and drop to the DVD of all the files I wanted on there. Saw the burn bar go up as it was burning, burn completed and the disc ejected.

Great I thought until when I try and read the disc it takes ages reading then, does nothing/fails.

Have tried playing a DVD movie which works fine, any ideas people?

I hate computers when they don't do what they should be doing.

Are you using branded disks and verifying them?

I have always used DataWrite and always found them excellent.

I also burn at 1/4 max speed and always verify them.

ImgBurn is another good FREE burning program.

I use Nero and have no problems. Have you tried another writing another dvd incase it was a faulty one?
