Hi everyone. :)

I have recently joined TP but have not yet posted any photos.
What a cracking site, lots of info and some fantastic pictures.

The thing I am interested in at the moment is copying my 35mm colour slides from motorcycle racing events from the 60s and 70s, I have most of the famous names from that era but all on these slides.

I do have a digital SLR, a Canon 400D.

I have recently seen an advert in AP for an Ohnar Digital slide duplicator priced around £70, I have never heard of this one.

Has anyone any experience of this product and if so was it worth the money or can you offer anything similar or would you suggest using a film scanner, again if so which one that won't cost the earth.

Many thanks

I have an Epson V200 which I bought for £60 off Amazon in August that scans 35mm negatives and slides. I really recommend it :) A lot of people go for the Epson 4490 though as it scans medium format negatives as well but it's a bit more expensive!

Many thanks Hannah

I have looked at the V200 but it seems only to be available on Ebay. It looks to have been superseded by the V350. I did not realise that the 4490 was able to take a larger neg.
This may be the way to go, as I also have a lot of 2.1/4 sq transparencies and negs as well

All the best.

If you use VISTA be sure the printer/scanner you get is compatible.
