I hated coal as a kid. It was dirty and smelled horrible when it burned. It covered the streets where I lived in black soot and was heavy to haul about in buckets to feed the "home fires"! I remember the "smokeless zones" when evrybody changed to "coke" (which was made by part burning coal anyway to produce town gas) or the new fangled "North Sea Gas"! It seems that China and India have put the mockers on a ban and will just slow down on its use. Just not good enough, I'm afraid. I, for one, will not be buying anything from India or China (although I can see that I will struggle with that) in the future. We need to let them know that the rest of the world is not happy with them. I've stopped buying "stuff" that just fills my house, shed and garage because it is cheap. It does not last and most of the time, I just don't need it. I am also not buying anything made of plastic for my grandkids. I will do everything I can to reverse this horrible world situation in my own, small way. I apologise to the young people of the planet for my wasteful and selfish actions of the past. Please join me if you can.
