I currently have a 550D with kit lens and the 55-250 lens. Normally I'm quite happy with this range, but every now and then would like something a bit longer. Is it possible to get a teleconverter that will work with the 55-250 and the 550D. Can't really afford another lens at the moment.

If you use a TC with this lens you will see an noticable drop in image quality and also you will loose AF.

I think that the Kenko tc's might fit the EFS lenses, but I don't have one to test it!

opps - my bad - I guess if the Kenko won't fit it then probably none of the others will either... I can't imagine that this lens would take a tc well even if one did fit.
