Hi

A colleague designed my logo for me and I now want to use it for producing bespoke goods with it on. Alas the company require it as a vector, it's all text. Is there an easy way to convert this in photoshop CC?

I would ask my friend if she could send it to me as a vector, but I asked AGES ago what font she used and she never got back to me so I doubt I'll get anything back.

I have googled it, repeatedly, but I only seem to get old tutorials and I struggle making it fit with CC.

If I have posted this in the wrong place, apologies!

If it is text, it should be fairly easy to trace it using illustrator. Post the image and I'll have a go.

You might already know this but your name is in the "Zapfino" font (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zapfino). Comes as standard on Mac computers, not sure about Windows. Unfortunately I'm not a font expert so couldn't say what the other font is - sorry!

Tried running it through live trace in illustrator and it's not as good as the original. Do you have a larger version of the jpg?

You can trace it easily with Inkscape. http://inkscape.org/ Inkscape is a popular vector program. And it's free!
Use the "Path - Trace Bitmap" command to automatically trace it. It takes less than a second.
Set the number of colours to 2 or 3, and the threshhold to a small number to be sure to get the small details.
I've just converted and saved a PDF as well as an SVG file. See this link https://copy.com/WwPvDGmYWOeTY6XR
Let me know if you need any refinement.

Brilliant thank you.

This is why I love TP :)

Are you going to give inkscape a go? With a bit of tinkering, you could do a better job than I did. Particularly with the small text. As the bitmap resolution wasn't that high.
