I have just joined the site but for some reason cannot post a new thread to introduce myself so I thought that I would try this forum so my apologies if shouldn't have done so. I mainly photograph wildlife/landscapes with Nikon gear. My photography is solely a hobby and my only claim to fame with my photography is to get the judges choice in this years BBC Countryfile Competition - still not recovered from the shock!! Your site was mentioned nto me by a friend and I am impressed by the info available. I am now retired and stay in Scotland and look forward to spending time on the TP site. Claydon: I wanted to try some adapters for my A510, but gave up eventually, as I think the image quality would suffer too much, even though I might not be able to tell due to the fairly strong noise reduction being applied by the A510 anway.
