The name doesn't sound making sense.

Ok what I want to shoot is some highly polished clarity clear Acrylic products, such like counter business card holder.

Static on the Acrylic is not a problem if shoot over high-key background.
But I want to shoot it on low key, high reflective (black) surface.
I want to show the shiny edges and clarity.

Well I think I am mostly done both, minus the static on the Acrylic surface.

Can you control this through lighting?
If not what kind of antistatic product will be useful? The clarity have to be maintained.

Maybe not the ideal product but i've used normal household glass cleaner stuff in the past. I'm guessing your just having dust cling to the surfaces?

The polish works well enough and good stuff doesn't leave streaks but you will probably still find you need to do a bit of work cloning out rogue dust spots, much less than without though :D

yeah the dust.:gag:

Thanks for your tip. Do you find those anti-static brush useful?

'He' must be watching... or you Dave.
My local maplin is quite off town, but I happened to around and just about to left when your msg routed to my mob.
Will report the result soon.
Cheers!

The problem is, the items need to be scrupulously clean and the cleaning process will always attract dust, whatever you use - and the type of lighting it needs to make it 'pop' will make every mark 'pop' too.

So whatever you do, you will always end up with a fair bit of PP
