Update on my contaflex 1. Got an estimate to get it repaired!!!!!!, though I was buying. A share in the guys business, £120 ish. Only paid £3.50 for it , got the 2 front lenses removed, shop tok them for £4 ,score , so now have made the rest of it into A clock for my work desk. Ho hum :lol. Looks great .

I thought it only needed a clean? If so, seems like a waste to break it up into parts if it just needed (and was it absolutely necessary?) a clean?

I thought It was just a clean, the auto stop down was spent, only stopped down a F8 ish .
