IMO, a tiny amount of switchcleaner ( http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx...U=Strat330&doy=search&MenuName=Switch Cleaner ) squirted onto a clean piece of lint free cloth then wiped gently over the contacts when almost dry should do the job. Don't spray the cleaner onto the cloth in the same room as you're going to have the body "open" in though - the droplets from the aerosol can hang around in the air for ages! Be careful not to let any part of the cloth touch the mirror.
Thanks Guys it's just that I was out at the weekend and changed lens and auto focus stopped took off lens and reattached and was ok. So I have taken your advice and cleaned contacts and now seems ok.
The only extra that I done was to put a pec pad on a cotton bud dipped in a little isoproponal and the wipped over contacts (Just advised that by the manager of a large photographic chain)
