No
what do you use to clean the contacts on your lens and camera ??

As Shayne said, the little rubber on the end of a pencil seems to work a treat - make sure it's a good quality pencil / rubber - not one of those cheap nasty ones that don't really rub out and leave bits everywhere...

I use isopropyl alcohol in the form of those little pre injection swabs, useful for lots of cleaning jobs (and when I cut myself shaving too!).

Stabilant 22,or 22A is used in motorsport, not cheap,& even harder to get.

I use a cotton bud with some wd40 on it, then a dry one and then a soft brush and brush gently outwards. However this may be completely the wrong way to do it. It did however fix my D80 a few years ago.

WD-40 Specialist Fast Drying Contact Cleaner (sprayed onto a cotton bud). £7 for a 400ml aerosol on Amazon.

Note: this is not ordinary WD-40

What is wrong with using normal wd40 (genuine question, not doubting your advice)
I imagine it would leave a residue which would attract more dirt, whereas all the other recommended cleaners are alcohol based which evaporates quickly and leaves nothing behind.

ToolStation do a cheap and decent contact cleaner for car electrics : tiny bit on a cotton bud is good.

IPA, it's designed for cleaning electrical contacts. The above post and link are for IPA based products.
