connecting to my TV box

I have a Sumvision Cyclone MKV player that I hook up to the TV to play videos from a USB hard disk. I can connect to my computer from the player and play files that are on the computer but how do I send files from a computer to the USB disk thats connected to the player?

I know what the IP address of the player is but I dont know what to do to find it as its not under my network computers on the windows 7 machine.

If you browse to \\theipaddress can you see any share names that might be where the files are stored?

To be able to do that the player would need to have either a FTP server built in or some form of file share broadcast facility, I suspect that if you have not found a setting for either of these things it wont work. I have netgear and western digital players that dont have that ability either so I suspect its a "by design" reason they dont have.
