We'd like to offer our congratulations to our very own member petemc (Pete Carr), for his recent achievement on having an article published in the November 2006 issue of Professional Photographer.
While assisting Karen McBride on a recent photoshoot, he was asked to provide the magazine Professional Photographer with an article explaining a technique that Pete has come to use extensively in his portfolio, HDR.
A discussion thread about the article, and an explanation of how Pete came to write it, along with some sample pics can be found here : HDR and Mr Pete Carr.
Pete's HDR processing guide, that he provided to the magazine, can be found on his website here : HDR Guide.
His daily photoblog and personal website can be seen here : http://petemc.net/
So all that's left to say is a big hearty CONGRATULATIONS to Pete.
I remember when Pete had a point and shoot a few years ago, and as a forum we've seen him go from hobbyist amateur through to his determined attempts to break into the professional market, some of which he has documented on these very forums.
So, Pete, from all the staff here at Talk Photography, congrats mate
Well deserved, and may it be the first of many such assignments, and help spread your work.
