Confusion over ipod/itunes/dvds

Okay, so help is needed please!

I want to put my Michael McIntyre dvd on my ipod, but am unsure of how to?

Any help and advice greatly received

Probably need to dump it onto your hard drive first, then back to your ipod.

You will need to download a free DVD Rip software and then transfer it to your iTunes then to your iPod... It's quite lengthy and a bit of a pain in the backside!

Needs to be in mp4 format.

Your on mac? I suggest you get the free software "Handbrake", it is very easy to use and has all the presets for ipods/iphones etc. I use it for my Xperia and its excellent.
