I'm happy to be typing this out on my new diy built machine and its a blower! (for me anyway)

Did you just plug your old HD in and it work without formatting or anything?

I didn't try. it was 32 bit and i needed 64 bit. I've bought a solid state drive now to run Windows.

I'll plug it in to move everything over to a external hard drive.
