How do I play a rar file? I want to play and burn to cd a full album that I have as a rar file. It is 68mb in size and when I try to play it in windows media player it wont play and the message file type unsupported is displayed. I have no idea what a rar is. Help please anybody.

You need to download this to de-compress it.

You don't play a rar file it is a compressed file that needs un-raring with this

Just in-case you didn't grasp it... Winrar is an equal to Winzip..

WinRAR is way better than Winzip, but http://www.7-zip.org/ is better than both
