Looking at this system from NOVATECH:

I already have a decent GPU ready to deploy...

I would just need some hard drives.

Couple of questions:

1. Does the above sound like a good setup?

2. What drives would you go for? Should I go for a smaller drive for OS and software and a larger one for data?

3. Should I jump to windows 7 which I do not know or keep with XP pro?

Thanks....

Jeff.

1) looks like a decent pc 2)Get as big a hdd as you can you'll soon fill it, and 3) deffo go with windows 7 its never missed a beat on my rig

That's a respectable pc altho it doesnt really need a 750W Psu.
I use Win 7 and have been quite impressed, I think a jump from xp will be well worth it. The system has 4Gb's ram so will be able to handle CS3 and Win7 easily.

I have a drive for the Windows 7 install and 2 drives for data but if Im honest its mostly for neatness - I havent noticed that much performance improvement if any so I wouldnt worry too much about that.
