I've been looking at quite a few on eBay recently. About the £70-£100 mark. Ain't decided yet tho. Can't post a link as I'm not at my PC but have a search on there for gaming or racing chairs to get an idea of the different styles, colours and prices etc.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for inspiration.

Never had any bother with our IKEA chairs. I think they were around the £80 mark.

We have Herman Miller Sayl chairs at work - you can do a lot better for the money.

I am "lucky" to be 6' 8" tall and "well proportioned". Consequently, I needed a chair suitable for my height and size and ended up with an ErgoChair Adapt 700 (http://ergochair.co.uk/products/_/adapt_700/adapt_700) which - at close to £1000 - was very, VERY, expensive. It was worth it though.

Once it arrived, I realised that the chair I was sat on at home was pants, so I ended up ordering one for myself too (fortunately, I got a bit of a discount...). Can't put too great a price on sitting comfortably - especially if you do it all day every day.

don't get a cheap chair

I got a herman miller setu chair, a beautiful chair, very comfortable and in some ways it's orthapedically correct, but I still ended up with back problems due to insufficient lumbar support (and a hefty chiro bill to ease the pain...) so I bought the fully adjustable aeron chair, which if i'd bought in the first place i'd have saved a fortune on medical fees, and my back wouldn't be screwed up right now...

that being said I sit in my chair most of the day, and then my leisure activates are largely computer based too, so maybe I sit in a chair longer than most
