I could do with some help here.

My daughter is a scientist, with a staff job at a South African university. She's been asked to develop a physiology e-learning programme with graphics and animations to run off a website for students, and told to order a suitable computer and the necessary software.

This isn't really her field, but she's stuck with it. The university IT support department aren't being particularly helpful, and have just suggested that she should get CS5 because it seems to have the capability, and includes Flash and Fireworks, and anything else she needs.

Her first question is whether to get CS5 Design Premium or Web Premium, or if there are better options? The second question is what computer to order. She would prefer a laptop - has to be an HP in terms of the procurement process - but will get a desktop if necessary. Can anyone suggest what specs this is going to need?

I know this probably isn't enough information, but graphics and animations are well outside my limited expereince with computers, and that's all she can tell me at the moment. The development skills are another matter, but she taught herself Photoshop without any problems and the university will probably pay for a course if necessary.

Thanks everyone.
