Competition Website?

Someone on Flickr sent me a link yesterday to this website, it is a global competition site.

Can't seem to figure it out? Looks like you add shots to the competitions and win stuff?

Legit? Scam? Anyone used it? I've never heard of it?

It just looks like complete tosh, I'm trying to work out whats in it for anyone (not being from the 'need to be famous' generation).

To qualify, I dismissed Twitter as pointless when it was a new baby (wish I'd bought shares instead).
