Was wondering if anyone could recommend a small\compact tripod at all.

I am off for a few city breaks soon and am taking my LX100 rather than my DSLR and wont have room for a full size tripod. I do have a Gorilla Pod but have never really got on with it.

Ideally looking for something small that will fit into hand luggage and not fill my bag up - any ideas or recommendations gladly received..
Thanks

I've got a Vanguard Nivelo (204?) that I use when I don't need my main tripod. It cost less than £50

It's super light weight, great for carrying but not too great in strong winds. It weighs way less than 1kg and is just under 1ft long, it extends to about 4ft. It's still fairly sturdy and you don't know you've carried it all day, and a bonus, it fits inside my Hadley. You may still find one if you hunt around, maybe old stock somewhere or Amazon/ebay.

Thanks all - to be honest, I was looking for something tiny to fit into a carry on bag, and having done some looking, am thinking something like the Manfrotto Pixi Mini or Pixi Evo will be ideal - it's only in case I get a spare moment for some long exposures so only want something very small and relatively inexpensive.

I have a pixi mini i picked up on impulse and it's OK I guess but I would go for Nikos' suggestion or the pedco ultrapod 2 if buying again.
The built-in head on the pixi isn't brilliant, I'm on Olympus omd so not really heavy.
